Ask me about this morning...

Go ahead, ask! It was WET! I wasn't so sure, but once we got outside, it was kind of fun! But definitely wet. This rain thing is kind of neat. Everything smells so different! And when we got inside, Mum dried me off with a big towel and covered me up with a blanket before breakfast, and I was snuggly and warm. I did tell Dad that this was definitely a good day to play hooky and stay home and nap with me, though... But they didn't.

It wasn't raining on Sunday, and that's when we went for another friend walk! It was a really short drive this time. I like going in the car, because most of the time, there's friends where we stop!

I'm all ready to go! Come on, Mum!

Here we go!

Out in front, just the way I like it!

Colour coordinated friends! hee hee roo roo

So much fun! I like the friend walks; I hope we do lots of them!

Oh dear...

So I had a super yummy bone on Sunday afternoon, but it made my tummy feel not so great.

Then Monday morning, Mum and Dad left for work, and Mum didn't close the door to the Xpen! She gave me my Kong and did everything else normal. So I had run of the house! Score!

Except my tummy really didn't feel well...

So after I threw up three times and had diarrhea four times, I figured it couldn't get much worse, so I peed on the corner of my Xpen.

Not sure Mum's going to leave the door open for a while now.

But Mum and Dad didn't seem mad, more worried. They brought home a big loud cleaner thingy, but before they used it, they let me go up on their bed! I wasn't too sure about that, but they insisted, and it was soft and comfy and away from the big loud cleaner thingy. And they fed me this soft white grainy type stuff for dinner and for breakfast too that didn't make my tummy hurt. And Dad convinced Mum to stay home with me today, 'cause I'm not feeling well (there were other reasons too, like "bad roads" and "banked time," but I don't quite understand what those mean). Mum keeps asking me if I need to go outside. I'll tell her when I do. But now it's nap-time again. Hope my tummy feels all better soon. Why'd it have to feel bad the first day Mum left the door open?

New toy = Time to kill some squeakers!

This is a great toy! I've had it two days now (this video is from Sunday), and I've killed three of the squeakers already, and another two are on their way out, but the broken squeakers still make this great popping noise, and the toy has crinkly material inside! It's just awesome! *pounce*

Music

So, I was singing along this morning to Nelly Furtado, but then Daddy turned off the music, and even though I whined, he didn't turn it back on. I think he fell back asleep. Oh well...

I'll only sing along to certain types of music, and I'm still figuring out which I like enough to sing with. Nelly Furtado is great; we get great harmony. Yowwwwwwwwwwwwlllll! Rowr row row rowr!

Doctor's appointment

Yesterday I had my first doctor's appointment with the Mum. She apologized that it was so long after I came to stay with them, but really, I didn't mind. The nurse weighed me, and I was about 73 pounds. Then we went into a little room with two doors and the nurse and the Mum talked about things. The nurse told the Mum that we've got to do something about my two upper teeth, so that means more chewing, which I don't mind, or tooth brushing, which I don't know what is, but oh well. Also, that I needed another dewormer, which might help with dandruff and weight gain and something else I didn't understand (soft stool or something?), but that the Mum was wondering about. Then the nurse gave me lots of kisses and took me to get my claws trimmed. Then she brought me back to the Mum, and we waited for the doctor. The doctor was nice; he stretched out all my legs and looked at my teeth and tried to give me a cookie, but I wasn't interested. Then he confused the Mum by saying that she should increase my carbohydrate intake. I don't know why that's so confusing, but oh well. He said the same things about my teeth, and then the Mum and I left the room and waited for the dewormer thingy. There was lots happening while we waited. A little white dog came in and we looked at each other from each side of the room. A beagle came in to get her claws trimmed, but she didn't want to leave her Mum, so her Mum carried her to the door and then another nurse took her from there. A nice lady came in to buy food for her pet, and petted me, and asked if I was a Doberman. The Mum and I cuddled. A boy and his dad and his mum left the place; they looked very sad. The Mum cuddled me a little more. Finally the nice nurse came out, gave me more kisses, and gave the Mum an envelope with the dewormer pills. If the Dad gave the first one to me with dinner last night, heh, I didn't notice. Yumm, food.
